For the sake of those that are unfamiliar with this company, BioSlim is a weight loss product that is sold primarily through the Internet and television advertising. When people first begin with the BioSlim program, they usually buy the 6 week Complete BioSlim Kit. In this Kit you get 3 bottles of the BioSlim Formulas. You get the Accelerator, which is a tablet that you take for the first 12 days that you are on the BioSlim program. You also get their Vita/Min Plus Formula, which is pretty much a high-powered multivitamin, taken twice daily. This is actually a good thing, because it means that you will waste less of the ingredients. (It's a little known fact that our bodies can only absorb so much of any one vitamin at a time, and that much of what is listed on the nutritional label actually gets excreted by your body as waste product. Taking vitamin pills twice a day means that your body will not waste so much of the nutrients, and you'll actually be getting more of the good stuff that you are paying for!)

You also get the BioSlim SlimTone Formula in your Kit. Though BioSlim is quick to dissuade you from simply taking the SlimTone in and of itself, this is the Formula that most would think of as the "diet" pill. It is a blend of natural supplements that have been clinically proven to help get your metabolism working more healthfully, undoing the damage done by years of poor eating habits (and we're all guilty of that, or we wouldn't be trying to lose weight!) It's also supposed to help with the regulation of blood sugar, and many other things (see their website, www.bioslim.com, if you want their full description).

BioSlim is so concerned about blood sugar because the scientific principle behind the BioSlim Plan is that when you eat a lot of carbohydrates, they are turned into sugar during the digestive process (this isn't just the opinion of BioSlim; it's based in sound science). Even stuff that doesn't taste sweet, like bread for example, will become a form of sugar that gets into your bloodstream. And when there is a lot of sugar in your bloodstream, your body responds by releasing insulin. With the alarming rise in diabetes cases in the country, a lot of you are probably already familiar with insulin. When we have caused our bodies to stop digesting sugars efficiently (mostly because we give our bodies far too much sugar) we can develop diabetes. Of course, there is no such thing as a perfect company, so with the positives, let's also review some of the negatives. There is no return policy on reorders. Another minor negative is that their toll-free Customer Service line is not open 24 hours a day. If you have a question or issue, you need to call them during their business hours. But if you leave a message, they are quite good about calling you back.

One good point: the company makes their policies extremely clear and obvious, so there should be no cause for any confusion.
